MARGATE SOUL FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2021 LINE-UP
Celebrating the “Power of Women” with a female led cast of artists.
Starting on the streets of Margate seafront in 2002 to now becoming an internationally recognised brand. Celebrating its 16th year which has played host to a stellar line up of international artist such as Arrested Development, Soul II Soul, The Jones Girls, Jean Carne, Incognito, Bah Samba, Atlantic Starr, Gwen Dickey, Kathy Sledge, Deniece Williams and so many more
This year’s line-up brings together 4 decades of top quality artists, topped by a Sunday headline performance on the now famous ‘Sunset Stage’ by none other than the UK’s four time Brit Award Winner and three times MOBO Awards Winner Emeli Sande MBE. Emeli will be performing her biggest Mi Soul hit “More Of You”. This track will be on general release 23rd October followed by the Booker T House Mix. USA songstresses Melba Moore, Julie McKnight, Odyssey, Angela Ricci with Brand New Heavies and ‘Lovers Rock Queen’ Carroll Thompson make for a star studded, top weekend of entertainment. Add to this the proficient singer-songwriter, house, jazz and soul vocalist, Juliet Roberts who will curate an M.S.F exclusive performance, celebrating the lifeof Aretha Franklin and new UK modern soul band SouLutions headed by Louise Mehan hailing from the North East of England makes this another year of super live performances alongside some of the UK’s biggest DJ talent.
