The only DJ work ever done was back in the 80s when I was a dodgy Twentys rep in Benidorm so the whole ZeroRadio thing is a bit of a ....Ive always wanted to do it.... scenario. Having persuaded ZeroRadio to let me have a go at selling some advertising for them, thought it would be worth trying to ply my long lost talent And let me have a go at resurrecting those heady days on the Costas…. In the more temperate climbs of the Essex Countyside… and BINGO! True Essex man, who often visited the Zero6 along with all the other haunts back when I was able to funk for several hrs. Attended all the Soul weekenders back in the day & even worked behind the Bar at a Caister, so have heard 1 or 2 of the proper tunes before.
