Born in Colchester many years ago So Im a proper Essex Boy.

After spending some 9 years in Newcastle I could not stay away any longer.

 

As far back as I can remember I have always had a passion for soul, jazz, funk music.

My first memory being a wedding reception aged 6/7 where the Dj played  funky soulful tunes and I danced my little legs off all night.

 

In my late teens mucked about a bit Djing but never took it to seriously as I couldnt afford my own gear. However, now much older and wiser my attitude is " do the things you really love to do". So I travelled around India for 6 months, came back and started Djing at Roberts Night Club which is now the longest running soul night in Colchester.

Now I have been given a fantastic opportunity to have my own radio show on zero radio..
