Born in East London, escaped to Canvey Island aged 3 and had his first Gold mine experience aged 15. Jazz, Funk & Soul fan ever since.
Started DJ’ing in 1981 when his CB club couldn’t afford to pay a pro DJ! and has worked mobile and in various venues including Gold Mine, The Monico, Kings Club and Shades with Greg Edwards plus Piers (Westcliff Casino) with Dr Bob Jones and most of the major Essex Pubs & Clubs most notably The Old Windmill in Hanningfield, the Sam Lords in Benfleet, Monty’s in Leigh (with Mr Messy), Saks, the Sun Rooms and Turtle Bay (Churchills)in Southend etc.
Original leader and member of the “Canvey Salsa Squad” tribe, often seen formation dancing down the Zero 6 in the early 80’s!
