After just a few short months he was offered two club residences in Essex whilst still only 15 years of age, but following parental advice, turned these down and stayed on the mobile circuit. At the age of 18 Phil was presented with the huge decision of whether to say in music or take a full time career opportunity within the dance industry, and went back to his first love of Latin dance.
Since then, and having built his own businesses and having working on BBC TV’s “Strictly Come Dancing”, Phil decided to return to music through Hospital Radio Chelmsford where he has progressed from Presenter to Station Manager and following picking up the award of “Station Of The Year” at the HBA Awards, was given a regular show presenting radio for the BBC.
It was whilst at the BBC that he was nicknamed “Big Phil” by his broadcast assistant, and has been know as such ever since. Phil is very exited to be joining the ZeroRado team to present Saturday Breakfast from 0800 till 1000.
